I want to get a tattoo… what’s the first step?

Reach out! Give all the details you can think of, tell us everything we need to know: idea, placement, approximate size, etc, also a few reference pics with what you like and don’t like about each. Unsure or leaving it up to your artist?Let us know that too, we love being given artistic freedom with designs! Please be patient with replies, expect a day or 2 between messages. If you have a specific timeline please include that up front! Pleeease try to avoid using AI references, we’d rather a doodle on a napkin, f*ck AI!

Do you have a minimum?

$100-150 It is not our aim to be the cheapest shop in town, and even the smallest of tattoos requires drawing, stenciling, and expensive supplies, and a simple tattoo will still take around an hour at the shop. This is permanent, take it seriously!

Do you take walk ins?

We take walk ins whenever we can! We usually have a sign up sheet in the hallway and we can text you when we have time. Some days we will be booked up with large projects though, you can always call or text the shop for that days availability. Weekends book up first!

Do you do coverups?

This is a case by case basis, neither of us usually take on large difficult cover ups but if it’s a small old tattoo being absorbed into a large piece then it’s no problem, or if it lends itself easily into a cover up like dark florals we may be able to come up with something. We won’t take on any projects we are uncomfortable with executing. We both really enjoy reworks though!

Will I see the design before my appointment?

NO we do not send out designs ahead of time. Your artist will have a design ready for you to approve at the beginning of your session, and we can make any necessary changes together. This is for a multitude of reasons including design theft, nitpicking, and time constraints, but if you like our past tattoo work you should feel confident we will arrive at a design we both love.

Schedule/How far ahead should I book?

From first contact right now we can generally get you in within 1-6 weeks. Weekdays are available much sooner within a 1-3 weeks, expect 4-6 weeks if you require a weekend. We are open Wed-Sun, starting at 1 PM every day. We can potentially be flexible on times, so if the online booking times don’t work let me know your specific scheduling requests, and we will see what we can do!

Do you take a deposit?

We take a $50-150 deposit at the time of booking to secure your time slot. This is not an additional fee, it will be taken off the price of the tattoo at the end, however it is NON REFUNDABLE. This is equally true if you cancel, no show, show up 30 min past your appt time, or otherwise decide not to get the tattoo. I offer one penalty free reschedule if 48 hours notice is provided. Deposit is valid for 6 months, at which point it is forfeited unless previously discussed with your artist.
